Question 1

What is ImageClash (Image Clash)?

Accepted Answer

ImageClash is a multiplayer AI party game where 2-10 players compete to create the funniest AI-generated images. Each round, players are paired up and given the same creative prompt. You type your idea, AI generates an image from your text, and everyone votes for their favorite. It's like Jackbox meets AI art!

Question 2

How many players can play ImageClash?

Accepted Answer

ImageClash supports 2-10 players per game. The sweet spot is 4-8 players for the best experience - enough for variety but intimate enough that everyone's creations get appreciated.

Question 3

Do I need an app to play Image Clash?

Accepted Answer

Play in the browser or the iPhone app, whichever you like. ImageClash runs in any web browser. The host opens imageclash.net on a laptop connected to a TV, or right on their phone in Pocket mode (no TV needed), and players join by scanning the QR code. Your phone becomes your controller.

Question 4

How does AI image generation work in ImageClash?

Accepted Answer

Jay Peg, the game's AI, draws exactly what you type in a few seconds. He never sees the theme, so say the whole joke. We don't keep your prompts after the game or train AI on them, and pictures are deleted automatically within a day.

Question 5

Is ImageClash free to play?

Accepted Answer

Joining is always free. Hosting 2-player games is always free, and your first party with more players is free too. After that: $4.99 for a 24-hour Party Pass, $8.99 a month, or $29.99 once for Lifetime, all unlimited up to 10 players.

Question 6

What devices are supported for Image Clash?

Accepted Answer

Any device can host. Use a laptop or desktop on a TV or projector for the big-screen show, or host Pocket mode straight from your phone, no TV required. Players can join from any smartphone with a modern web browser - iPhone, Android, or tablet.

Question 7

How long does an ImageClash game take?

Accepted Answer

A 3-round game with 6 players takes about 15 minutes. Each round has 2 minutes of writing, then a vote on every battle and a leaderboard.

Question 8

Is my prompt data stored or used by ImageClash?

Accepted Answer

No. Your prompt is used to draw the picture, and we don't keep it after the game or train AI on it. Pictures are deleted automatically within 24 hours.

Question 9

Is ImageClash a good alternative to Jackbox?

Accepted Answer

Yes. ImageClash uses the same one-screen-plus-phones format that made Jackbox popular, but the gameplay is built around AI image generation instead of trivia or drawing. Unlike Jackbox there's no console or game pack to buy: players and the host can play in the browser at imageclash.net or in the app. It's a focused single-game experience rather than a pack, and joining is always free.

Question 10

What are the best free online party games to play with friends?

Accepted Answer

ImageClash is one of the few AI-powered party games that's free to join — only the host needs credits, and new accounts get one free game. It works for groups of 2 to 10, takes about 20-25 minutes, and runs in any web browser or the app. Players join by scanning a QR code with their phones, making it ideal for in-person game nights and remote video calls alike.
